Bill, I ran out of 2 stroke oil, and used cooking oil instead in the weed eater. It smelled just like your veggie wagon!

I have actually 2 of those scooters. I should get them out tomorrow and fill them with gas and biodiesel and take them out on Bayshore and see how hungry the joggers get. I have a few other friends that have some too and we all took them to Fort Desoto last year and was ran off the park property by the park ranger. He told us that they were illegal in the park.

Hey people

How many of you have young children and are you taking them? I will have 3 younguns with me that day and spouse may be working. I would like to see everyone and their new mods...

So, just so we're straight... this is happening on Sunday, April 3, 2005 @ Fort DeSoto Park? What time?

OOO, just looked on Desoto web site and they have a boat ramp... anyone launched from there at all? I'm thinking to bribe spouse with fish... haha

Sorry, RubaDu....errr, LuvaDub
My kids' eyes glaze over at the mere mention of cars...they'd be absolutely comatose by the end of a TDI gathering...

(I know, you worked so hard on picking a nick that no-one could contort.....)

who in this group has done the evry mod and do you like? oh and are you chipped if you did it.

What I'm getting at is maybe, if anyone is willing to help me, this can be done at GTG? Or is it not a simple git-er-done procedure?

Keith,

Thanks for the TB change! I can't believe 3.5 hours including BS time. You & Chris have a system!!!

I really noticed a difference in the cars response when I left the butt dyno was telling me firmer more intense acceleration with the timing where we left it. Now I have the .184's back in and have re-hammered my pump so I'm reading 5.6 with 32768 on adaptation and no smoke! and not much power loss from the .205's.
I will be there on the 3rd. I'll bring the Brats and a bag or 2 of self-lighting charcoal.
HEY...... are the bannas in season yet whoever brought them last time??

Sheila, I tried it way back before I did any other mods. I used a variable resistor, so I could tinker with dialing in settings that I wanted. I ended up removing it, because I could not dial out a CEL. Definitely impressive power, tho.

Should be able to do it in about 15 minutes...the hardest part is finding the right wires off the fuel pump harness, and exposing (huhuhuh, I said "expose") the copper for a good connection.

Mark; glad to hear the operation was a success, and the patient is doing well.
And yes, we are getting a good system in place. We actually, for some odd reason, seem to enjoy doing these...then again, after a week at our job, pulling our toenails out with pliers begins to look like "fun"....

Well, my Spec clutch went in last night. So did the EGT probe. 3 hours start-to-finish. I didn't realize just how worn my stock clutch had gotten! Now I have to take it easy on the clutch for 450 miles, according to Spec.

Have we nailed down a time and location(s)within the park? I suggest the same locations as last year...left turn at the "t" intersection then all the way to the end. (I couldn't find Viesel's map from last year's to post).
