Welcome to the new MKVI Jetta Sedan section on the TDIClub forums. This is the first time that the Golf and Jetta are no longer separated by just a few body panels. Rather they are now a separate vehicle type.

While there has been a lot of discussion if this is the right or wrong direction for VW and the Jetta lineup one can now gauge for themselves now that the vehicles are staring to arrive at local dealerships.

I've got a 2010 Golf and purchased a 2011 Jetta. I can tell you they are two different cars and i was getting frustrated by all the golf stuff in mk6 forum. its great for the Jetta to finally have its own place.

Very Aggressive Styling

At the Dealership they had an 2010 and a 2011 Jetta parked beside each other.

The 2011 will definitely appeal to the Younger Crowd. Kind off Mitsubishi-ish!

Whereas the 2010 looks would appeal to the Older Crowd. Kind off Buick-ish!

The 2011's come with the winter package in Canada. Besides the Block Heater, you automatically get Driving Lamps. Looks nice, actually!
