Golf 7 - 2.0 TDI 150HP tuned at 184HP
Hi!
It has passed a year since this problem started and I want to solve it for good.
I have a Golf 7, 2.0 TDI, 150hp version, manual, not DSG.
In April, last year, I have done a remap which gave me 184hp and 434nm (+100nm over stock values).
Since I did the remap, the car has vibrations between 1700-2000rpm. After 2000rpm, the vibrations disappear.
This happens only when the engine is warmed up and only in 4th, 5th & 6th gear.
If I downshift to have over 2000 RPMs in these gears, I don’t get the vibration.
This happens when I floor the gas pedal.
In the firsts minutes since I start the car and drive in those RPMs and gear, the vibration doesn't show.
The car has 188k km and the remap was done at ~170k km.
The tuner is known in my country, as it has dealers all over the country.
They have done this tune on several engines like mine.
What do you think it should be?
The clutch engages and shifts well, the flywheel doesn’t make any noise when I start and turn off the car.
Should I prepare for a new flywheel or it should be a bad engine/gearbox mount? 😅
