Water in the Trunk

Today I was cleaning out my trunk and I notice water in the trunk on the passenger side in the hole (usually where I keep a quart of oil and the power serve). At first, I thought the Power Serve bottle had leaked but it was water as there was no odor or color.

Any thoughts?

A common source of a trunk leak is the tail lights. A hole in the bottom of the trunk is also not uncommon. However with a 2005 a rust hole is not likely. Is it still under warranty?
