I also have bucking - quick intermittment cut outs - all speeds and gears ( I have a manual) - all conditions - The dealer had it for 3 weeks and cannot get it to run properly or diagnose the issue - I also replaced the crankshaft sensor per advice I received here = My other mechanic stated that his software did indicate a few electrical component drop outs when the brief hesitation occurs - My additional mechanic thinks it could be a fuel pump issue - Folks here think it could be the camshaft sensor - NO codes or dash lights - The other dealer in town is now taking a stab at the issue - god only knows how long they will have the car!! 2015 120k

Electrical components dropping out means some sort of electrical/ harness issue. Are they loosing can bus/ communication signal or loosing power? Find out and go from there.

4 PID items - losing power - I cannot get it to cut out for the dealer - I am so frustrated with this car - It cuts out for me all the time - runs perfect for the dealer I guess - a supernatural car? - the spiritual posession of my car knows the dealer sucks and will do whatever it takes to avoid a confrontation - The other dealer said these cars sometimes end up with the wholesalers and eventual auctions - pretty sad

Get VCDS to get an accurate log of your issues.

I am not clear on PID and VCDS terminology - Does the dealer not have the ability to get accurate VCDS info?? At this point I was told to take the car often to the service tech for rides ( I drive) until the engine cut outs replicate for him - The computers and sensors are simply not helping at this point. No codes - dash lights - diagnostic info - nothing

The dealers do have the capability of reading the codes. So does any one with vcds or similar other tools. If it is acting up like you say there should be codes being set in the computer. It is always helpful to have your own vcds to see what is going on, rather than try and get the dealer/mechanic to tell you anything.

yea the car cut out 7 times on the way to the dealer - then the service tech rode with me for 25 minutes and it ran perfect!! my car is demonized and possesed - VW of America has expedited my case Hopefully the second dealer and only other dealer in my city can eventually figure out the issue - Thousands in parts and thousands in labor so far - and the car runs like **** - But when it does run it sure has nice power - it idles rough now as well
