Intersting, about 1 year ago, I looked up & realized I was following an spotless A4V TDI wagon, the route was darn near the same as what I was going. The more I looked, the more I realized it was a darn nice car. about a mile before my destination, the wagon turned right into a residential development. I thought, what the heck & followed it. About a mile later, it pulled into a driveway, & I pulled up behind the car. To my surprise & delight, a gorgeous, trim lady got out of the car. She looked alarmed as if I was stalking her. I complimented the car out my open window & asked if she would consider selling it. The expression mildly relaxed. I explained that I was a TDI person & was casually in the market for a car like hers. She explained that she had not considered selling it as it only had 86K miles. My appreciation grow. The situation was relaxed enough that I got out of the car, looked in her car windows: Spotless leather interior!. I gave her my business car and asked that she call me should she decide to sell it. I inquired if the T-belt had been done. She looked clueless. I cautioned her on the T=belt age & milage & the way some dealers charge for the work. As I drove away, the expression on her face suggested that she did not entirely believe me. As I type this, I realize I should stop by & leave another note on her car. She was a nice looking lady, but the car was even better. Like the old joke of a woman with a boat advertising for a male friend. & the male respondents asked for a photo of the boat.
