Hey MGDM, Actually, the spice redder most likely won't be here till sometime mid to late week. If you can fricken believe it, I already have a deposit for her on the way in the mail for full pop. As a matter of fact, the silver 03 wagon is somewhat close as well. The prospective buyer has to consult with the other half B4 commiting. I will try and shoot some pictures of these as soon as the service and detailing is complete in order to rub it in on those here who fence sit

Both Jetta wagons now have confirmed deposits submitted at full pop even though both are still in transit. I will be attempting to acquire an 04 B5 Passat wagon silver/grey leather w/wood pkg. today with 32K one owner miles but, only if I can buy it decent. I have been trying to figure out how I can word responses to the many inquiring prospective customer's without it sounding like the hokey, car salesman BS that TDI's won't be here that long so, you had better sh!t or get off the pot

Bingo! Just acquired this one and it was Manheim Certified all the way! I had one of my elite buyer's do a touchy feely on my behalf. Currently at 32K miles. Later!

Wow, I didn't know the Passatt was built in Germany. What a concept! A German car built in Germany! And to think I thought German cars were built in Mexico.

Hi MGDM, Yep, All Passats including B4's were made in the Fatherland. All Jetta wagons and some MY 2000 Golfs were also made in Germany. Dont remember if some 1999.5 Golfs were made in Germany but, it's possible. The way to determine this is in the first digit/letter of the VIN #. Example W=Germany, J=Japan, 1=USA, 2=Canada, 3=Mexico, 9=Brazil, and so on. Later!

Good Idea! Drive it out here, get a hotel, list it for sale, have prospective customer's call you at your room, have them meet you at your room, take test drives, follow them to their bank to get certified funds and then to DMV to perform the verification and paperwork process, take a taxi to the airport and take a one-way flight home. Sounds like easy money to me

What's to test drive?? Its a NEW GLS 2005 Jetta!!! You either want one or you don't. If you want it, just come and get it in PA. With a cashier's check in hand, I will even pay for your one way ticket here and sign the title over to you along with a bill of sale. Pretty simple isn't it? Are you jealous just cuz you don't have a 2005?? Pics are available. Its Blue Graphite with a black interior and a sunroof. No ESP or heated seats.

widmn, Chill out eh! FYI, If you wanted to do such a deal, you would either have to drive it out here or wait until you get 7500 miles on her. A CA resident can't legally take possesion until the mileage criteria is met B4 the vehicle enters CA. Besides, you are barking up the wrong tree with your assumption that I may be jealous of your 2005. Let's just call this a noob lesson for you, deal? Later!
