They must be printing it in Illinois then using all that idle time now at the Chattanooga plant to stuff the envelopes. They didn't want it to look too obvious, so they had someone drive to Nashville to mail them.Return address shows

No one has answered, but AFAIK, the "package" is a $500 gift card and a $500 voucher for dealer services.are they sending USPS, ups or fedex? I live in a rural area that USPS wont deliver to and have to pick up almost all amazon delivery's at the post office![]()
Why, yes, yes I am.Are any of you accepting the goodwill package?

Registered Nov 9th, still haven't received anything. I hope one of my housemates didn't assume it was spam & throw it away :-/
oh and to troll the people who take people too seriously:
I DESERVE MY FREE $1000 WHERE IS IT VW?????
The right question probably is: Is anybody NOT accepting the goodwill package? I can't think of a single good reason to turn down free money. Are any of you accepting the goodwill package?
Negative, ghostrider, since those terms *still* only apply to the card agreement, and not VW andthe EPA issue . . . as you would have quickly learned had you done a search or a little reading . . . that question has literally been beaten to death . . .So no one is scared about the clauses they have written in that state they can change the rules and you have to go to SD for any litigation?

Same here signed up on the 9th in the 9000's. Still waiting patiently.Signed up on the 9th, have a number of something like 3400 and nothing yet.
HAHA!! YesWow, relax people. Did you really expect that everybody would get their packages on the same day? Calling up and complaining isn't going to expedite anything. If a couple of days is such a huge deal, you probably need some financial management classes.
No it's just that we were told that the packages would be sent out according to your sign-up date which has been proven to be false. I suppose I should have expected to be mislead :-(Wow, relax people. Did you really expect that everybody would get their packages on the same day? I don't remember vw saying anything about the order they would be sent out. But maybe they were sent out in that order and it's all the postal service's fault for not being perfect. Or maybe they are being sent out randomly- oh the injustice. No it's just that we were told that the packages would be sent out according to your sign-up date which has been proven to be false. And do what? Scream at some random phone operator because you had to do 30 seconds of re-registration and will have to wait a few more weeks for a free gift?I'm going to be f**k'n pissed if what I read here is true about signing up prior to the 9th those submissions did not register. I've waited patiently for over a month and I have to find out on a message board!!
I just registered again and went from submission in the 7000's to submission in the 230,000's!!!!!!!!!!!!
W T F!
Believe you, me I will be on the horn with VW at 8am tomorrow.
I take the "goodwill money" as a pretty solid indicator that VW still has no concrete idea of how they're going to correct the emissions problem, especially in the non-SCR cars. If it were just a matter of negotiating fines and settlements, that would be simple enough (although perhaps quite expensive). But I fall into the camp that doesn't believe they have a good solution to retrofit all the cars that will need a hardware fix. Remember, they are not only going to have to install <whatever>, but they'll need to warranty not only it, but its effects on the rest of the car down the road (or so I think).oooooooooooooooooooooooooookay...
December 9th and still no word how this is going to be resolved short of hearsay and incomplete news reports.
sigh... guess ill go back to lurking.
Just got off the phone with VW and it's true. They did not receive my registration (even thought I have an email confirmation). I'm told that I am at the back of the line and my cards will not arrive until 4 weeks from today!I'm going to be f**k'n pissed if what I read here is true about signing up prior to the 9th those submissions did not register.
