Thanks

Please PM me your home number to discuss!Jettawolfs98 said:Chris,
Can you help me with a warranty for a 03 jetta wagon with 35k miles but GAS 1.8T Auto?
thx
I probably would have to educate you about the products I sell before we could do any business!milehighassassin said:$100 deductable for bumper to bumper?
SO this does not include powertrain, and you have to pay $1200 in the first place. So you will have to make more than $1200 in claims + $100(number of claims) in order to even break even.
$1200 will go a long ways to fix bumper to bumper problems.
Sorry but this is a rip-off.
I bet you could sell me some gap insurance as well.
Well you said this is to extend the bumper to bumper warranty. Powertrain warranty is not typically in the bumper to bumper.3193 said:I probably would have to educate you about the products I sell before we could do any business!
As I appreciate any constructive criticism, please explain to me how you PERCEIVE that powertrain and EVERYTHING accept wear and tear items are not covered! Should I send you a brochure!
As always, Thank you for the bump!
Chris

Does your plan include the powertrain?
Either way...
9/10 times an extended warranty is not worth the money. Especially with a $100 deductable.
Can you show the fine print on here?
?????milehighassassin said:Items that are not covered that you are likely to have problems with:
Battery, CV Joints, shock obsorbers, exhaust, heater, door handles.
At what point does this warranty say that an item is a "maintenance part".
Say I have front end problems (non alignment related).
I'm confused... The gold covers the drive axle but you say the CV is not covered. on 95% of VW's what other axle is there?
Front suspension IS covered but not the shocks.

Thank you for the clarity! I think MileHigh was just busting you know whats! LOLBrian's96TDIPASSAT said:I think the warrenty spoken about is actually Fidelity, there doing VW factory extended warrenties currantly. Check the wording of things, when they say shocks aren't covered, that is true, but, struts are. CV joints are covered, but if failure is the result of a torn boot causing lack of lube and debre damage, they are not. When dealing with warrenty companies, you'll make your life a whole lot easier by getting at least the minimum services performed at your local dealer to keep a paperwork trail in case of an engine failure. Also, timing belts are not covered, but, if they fail as a result of a covered part, IE, tensioner, waterpump, they are. I"m a consultant for several warrenty companies and there guidelines are all differant.
Correction!!!!3193 said:As a side note, I was just informed{I probably should have known this} that the VW RealDriver extended service contract is valid in Canada!
My banner will be up on the scizzor lift in Montreal! Call me for price quotes!

Congrats on your purchase! Welcome to VW and welcome to the TDIClub!skywalk said:Chris I just purchased a 2006 Jetta tdi with 35k miles on it. Does VW's warranty go to 40k miles or 50k miles?
What would your extented warranty cost me? and does your warranty go till 100k miles? Thanks
Hi Chris,3193 said:Correction!!!!
I just spoke to the warranty company again and found out the bad news.
I CANNOT put a warranty on a Canadien made vehicle. I can only warranty a vehicle made for NA and driven in Canada!
I am sorry for the confusion!
Regards,Chris
Thank you for the clarification question.muso said:Hi Chris,
Can you please clarify this for me...there are no VW's made in Canada, and seeing that Canada is part of NA (), it's not clear to me what can and cannot be warrantied. Do you mean that VW's originally sold in Canada cannot be warrantied if they end up in the U.S.?
Thanks.
