Love this car! Maybe the best car ever owned. Have seen 51.5 mpg for 180 mile trips. Has the panoramic moonroof, manual transmission, and touch screen Sirius with current subscription, VW rubber all season monster mats. All factory service has been performed. I don't like the length of oil service recommended so it has seen twice the number of oil services in its life. Awesome car needs nothing. ~34k miles. Asking $22,800 720.261.4813

I believe EPA mpg rating is 30 city 41 hwy, list mpg in the post title just screams Newbie. It's usally a invitation for critcism. Oil analysis for the past decade has shown 10,000 miles for oil change to be perfectly fine.
SportWagen with manual is a desirable configuartion. Has there been any paint or body work to the vehicle and was the service performed at dealer?

No needed paint nor body work. Factory service has been done with records to show that to be the case.

Out of curiosity, what do you get for mileage for a full tank, hand calculated? Short trips with the MFD reset don't mean much.

I never drive it for a full tank myself but do regularly fill it for my wife. Wife's last tank yielded 46mpg (not trip computer reference). When i get to drive it i only get it for 100-200 mile stints. You see the last two trips i've made in the vehicle referenced above. For the record the trip computer "mpg average" function has been within +/-1mpg throughout our ownership when verified at refills.

Made another 80 mile trip and trip said 51.5mpg average in city bumper to bumper traffic jam and highway combined by the time i made it home AC cranking car full.
Wife's last tank came out just shy of 47mpg.

It is in deed the 6spd manual transmission. Typo initially and have attempted to change it to no avail.
