I agree - feeble "joke" masquerading as a marketing ploy.
But with that said, for whatever reason, VW stock jumped 10% on Tuesday, after that leak late Monday. So, as a stock-holder....good move(?)

It seems the market liked the story better when it was news rather than clickbait. VLKAF down 5% today. I guess the joke was on them. You'd think with Biden's EV proposal out today, VW stock would be up along with all of the other EV players. Longer term, I'm sure the joke will be inconsequential in addition to not being particularly funny.
