Can anyone direct me to a link or show me how to disable the seat belt dinger? Also I set the doors to unlock when the key is removed and it does not seem to work.

You will need VCDS (Vag-Com) to do this. You must either buy it or find somebody near you who has it. You will need one of the HEX+CAN model cables to be compatible with all of your VWs.

I don't know if VCDS (Vag-Com) knows much about the 2010 (MKVI) electronics yet (it might, I just don't know). I do know that the 2010 models have new controller modules. I would suggest posting this question in the ODBII scanners section - several Ross-Tech people read and answer Vag-Com questions there (including Uwe Ross). I'm sure one of them will respond.

BTW: when you ask in the OBDII forum, I suggest that you post your complete auto-scan in your first message, because I'm certain that they will ask for it. It will save time if you post it immediately (you can edit out your VIN if you want).

Have Fun!

unlocking the doors on key removal is a setting you can change the MFA setup...

Well.. at least it is on the MKVI Golfs.

Ok I got it. I do have VCDS but it did not seem to be working until I took the car for a ride. The doors do not unlock when I pull the key, but they all unlock when I open the drivers door. Strange but it works.

I am having the same issue with the auto unlock, mine will unlock my doors about 50% of the time

Is this what you did in the MFA? Also does this unlock all 4 doors or just the front 2?

Convenience>door open>automatic>and check the auto open box

Somewhere there is a option to pick which doors I think (all, driver)... maybe that was for windows... I have the wagon and all 5 doors open now. Just the drivers door opened before I changed the settings. I have had no issues with this feature.

anyone know the vagcode to disable the automatic door locking feature when you start driving? That one drives me nuts too!
