Vagcom skc code. My van has a dpf that appears to be mapped out but hasn't been gutted.

My car has a dpf that hasn't been gutted and it appears to be mapped out. My economy sucks and I'm lacking low end power.

When I went to sign in to vagcom it said that prior to adapting a new USED ecm I need to enter my vehicle specific pin/skc code (immo_login) of the new USED ecm.

Is this vagcom playing up or has someone really put a second hand ecm in the car?
How can the car run and drive if the immobiliser code hasn't been entered?
Can anyone point me in the right direction to resolve this issue?

What I'm trying to get to the bottom of is my dpf appears to be mapped out but I've inspected it and it's still in place and hasn't been gutted, so I was hoping to force a regen but can't access the regen on vagcom.
I can only guess someone has put a remapped ecu with a dpf delete into my van which still has the dpf. It's definetly lacking low end power and has really bad economy.

I want to add a screen shot from vcds but can't figure out how to add photos. Is this because I'm a new member?

Oh that's super annoying I bought it off ebay. It looks genuine and appears to work. Is that why I can make any adaptions then? Or is there still an issue with the ecu?
