Hello everyone....I was wondering where I can buy a VAG COM and about how much do they run? Fixing to do some mods after I get my TDI back on the road again, but I don't want to do anything until I have the COM.

Thanks,
Jay

Thanks Griffin! I couldn't find anybody around the central Texas area with one, so I might be the first....I'll let everyone know when I get it.

Thanks again!

Is there anyone with a Vag-Com in the Ottawa area. I would like to make a couple mods (i.e., EGR, etc.). I may be in a position to purchase in the future and would certainly reciprocate to others.

Thanks.

Hi All,

On the topic of VAG-COM, for the Canadian members in particular, you can purchase that from Sensolutions. Sensolutions Inc. is the manufacturer of the MAX-COM and TWIN-COM adapters which are re-sold by Ross-Tech. We also manufacture an economy adapter: the OPTO-COM.

In addition, we manufacture the OBD connector and are planning to offer this as a kit later this month. This kit includes the connector and integrated housing with a strain relief.

If you wish to know more, either drop me a line martin.siebert@sensolutions.com or visit our website: www.sensolutions.com.

Thank you for your interest.

Martin

P.S.
For Canadian orders there is only GST to add to our prices. No brokerage charges or duties. Free shipping within Canada for orders over $300.00 CND.

<font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">Jay, there are quite a few VAG Com owners in the Cen Tex area. I know of a few in the Austin area.

Remember, Audi mavens also use this tool. I bought mine for my old B5 A4 (Audi, RIP
}.
It has some problems with my Jetta due to computer issues but I am working on it. I can access all modules save the freaking ECU
. My laptop is a dedicated unit, a monochrome 486 Epson.

I'm all over the Cen Tex area and know New Braunfels well. Let me know if I can be of service. I believe my brother's computer in SA still works though I have yet to scan my VW car with it.
