I have a question that may be more appropriate in the For Sale section. But, truthfully, I'm targeting this GTG specifically. I have a small bunch of stuff that's headed for the trash. Is anyone interested in grabbing any of the following at this GTG?

1) Two 10-gallon air tanks. Nothing wrong with them other than scratches, but they need hoses/chucks.

2) KONI coilovers for Mk3. They're shot and need rebuilding. They've been boxed up for years. I decided to go a different path rather than rebuild them.

3) Belly pan for a B5.5 Passat w/1.8T

4) Full set of Mk3/B4 steelies. No tires.

5) Full set of 1998 Jetta wheel covers for steelies.

6) One pair of Technics SB-LX70 3-way floor speakers. Specs are HERE. Speaker grills could use re-covering since our cats used to scratch them. The removable grill frames are good. They've been stored in the garage a LONG time. So there may be some spiders in them. There's no damage to any of the cones, but the boxes need cleaning.

7) Mk3 airbox.

That's all I can think of for now. I haven't posted this in the For Sale folder because I will offer this stuff to local club members first, if none of you want to grab it at this GTG.

Thoughts?

Scott,

For what size are the wheel covers? 15 or 16? If they're 16's I'll buy them from you. If anyone else is looking for something small or anything at all, please post in case I have something.

somethings I have;

(2)Rear passenger's door handle pulls with speakers - free to good home
Stock rear trunk lid lining (grey) - free to good home
(1) 16 inch 5X112 steel wheel-used free to good home
(2) 9007 Philips Niteguide bulbs - New free to a good home
Used but good condition leather multifunction steering wheel with controls-free to a good home

Hello,

For what size are the wheel covers?
The wheel covers are for 14" wheels. Sorry I didn't specify. I've been around so long that I figured everyone new that all steelies on our A3/B4's were 14x6".

pics? im interested in tanks possibly.
Here are the photos, taken today without any real prep. What you see is what you get:

Tanks (FREE) - Shorter tank is fatter. Both are 10-gallons and hold 120 psi forever...

KONI coilovers, plus some Ground Control Sleeves (FREE)...

14x6" steelies (FREE). One is mismatched, but they're all straight...

14x6" Le Castellets ($60). This one is the worst of them. I have LOTS of these from my autocrossing days. I have center caps, too.

Speakers (FREE)...

I didn't take photos of the wheel covers. This is their style; they're perfect...

I might make it but am unable to confirm prior, so maybe you can squeeze me in if I show up basically unannounced? I do hope to make it and meet some like-minded volks folks.

Hey all! My first post here, but i'm in the market for a tdi! I am going to try and make it to the meet to check out the cars. I haven't ever seen a modified tdi so pretty excited to check them out.I sold my 03 cobra last year out of necessity of a growing family (800+ hp and 4 very cramped seats doesn't do well for a family of 5 lol) and bought a lifted truck. it just didn't cure the itch so i sold it a few days ago and now looking to find a cheap tdi golf or jetta to commute in, pull my motorcycles to track days with, and build to an extent all while getting some good milage! depending on the weather i'll either ride my bike up or drive my wifes 2015 jetta gasser. hope to make it and meet some of you guys!

Would love to make it, but have to be at Camp Pendleton over the weekend. Could have brought all the Mk IV stuff that I never add to my old F/S thread! If anyone' interested, the Shell on Bestgate still has a biodiesel sticker on their pump. It's about 5 minutes from RH Roadhouse. I meant to ask them if it's still B20, but was late for the airport last time I was there. Have fun, someone have a Copperhead for me!

We have a tsi sport it was the first 2015 that the dealer had last year when we bought it and we needed to get rid of my wife's jeep liberty before we moved across the country. so i couldn't wait for a gli to show up but its a fun little car for a mom bomb! lol ill probably bring that since days of taking the bike out are getting fewer and further between as it gets colder.

Is there knowledge of other biodiesel sellers with a higher percentage along or near the I-95 corridor from the north?
I prefer to support the local retailers when possible rather than schlep my return fuel with me.

Make sure you bring your OBDII cables. I can't find my replacement. We can try with the laptop.

It may well be that my recently purchased generic OBD<->serial cable is defective. If it doesn't communicate when using your laptop, previously used to run VDSPro, that might explain my difficulties.

I've been through mine a few times checking those things I know.
XP, VCDS, VCDS<->serial cable: OK.
DOS, VDSPro, generic OBD<->serial cable, various baud rates: No-K.

They are looking for a serial cable, not USB. Lito has an old laptop that runs a DOS program called VDS Pro. It can code things on older cars that VCDS can't.
