pics? im interested in tanks possibly.I have a question that may be more appropriate in the For Sale section. But, truthfully, I'm targeting this GTG specifically. I have a small bunch of stuff that's headed for the trash. Is anyone interested in grabbing any of the following at this GTG?
1) Two 10-gallon air tanks. Nothing wrong with them other than scratches, but they need hoses/chucks.
2) KONI coilovers for Mk3. They're shot and need rebuilding. They've been boxed up for years. I decided to go a different path rather than rebuild them.
3) Belly pan for a B5.5 Passat w/1.8T
4) Full set of Mk3/B4 steelies. No tires.
5) Full set of 1998 Jetta wheel covers for steelies.
6) One pair of Technics SB-LX70 3-way floor speakers. Specs are HERE. Speaker grills could use re-covering since our cats used to scratch them. The removable grill frames are good. They've been stored in the garage a LONG time. So there may be some spiders in them. There's no damage to any of the cones, but the boxes need cleaning.
7) Mk3 airbox.
That's all I can think of for now. I haven't posted this in the For Sale folder because I will offer this stuff to local club members first, if none of you want to grab it at this GTG.
Thoughts?
Scott
The wheel covers are for 14" wheels. Sorry I didn't specify. I've been around so long that I figured everyone new that all steelies on our A3/B4's were 14x6".For what size are the wheel covers?
Here are the photos, taken today without any real prep. What you see is what you get:pics? im interested in tanks possibly.
My buddy, who owns (2) TDI's just bought a GTI gasser and I'm trying to get him to drive it to this GTG. Would love to see your Jetta!Hey all! My first post here, but i'm in the market for a tdi! I am going to try and make it to the meet to check out the cars. I haven't ever seen a modified tdi so pretty excited to check them out.I sold my 03 cobra last year out of necessity of a growing family (800+ hp and 4 very cramped seats doesn't do well for a family of 5 lol) and bought a lifted truck. it just didn't cure the itch so i sold it a few days ago and now looking to find a cheap tdi golf or jetta to commute in, pull my motorcycles to track days with, and build to an extent all while getting some good milage! depending on the weather i'll either ride my bike up or drive my wifes 2015 jetta gasser. hope to make it and meet some of you guys!
Sorry you can't make it. The last time I stopped at Bestgate Shell, they had B5.Would love to make it, but have to be at Camp Pendleton over the weekend. Could have brought all the Mk IV stuff that I never add to my old F/S thread! If anyone' interested, the Shell on Bestgate still has a biodiesel sticker on their pump. It's about 5 minutes from RH Roadhouse. I meant to ask them if it's still B20, but was late for the airport last time I was there. Have fun, someone have a Copperhead for me!
We have a tsi sport it was the first 2015 that the dealer had last year when we bought it and we needed to get rid of my wife's jeep liberty before we moved across the country. so i couldn't wait for a gli to show up but its a fun little car for a mom bomb! lol ill probably bring that since days of taking the bike out are getting fewer and further between as it gets colder. My buddy, who owns (2) TDI's just bought a GTI gasser and I'm trying to get him to drive it to this GTG. Would love to see your Jetta!

I prefer to support the local retailers when possible rather than schlep my return fuel with me.

They are looking for a serial cable, not USB. Lito has an old laptop that runs a DOS program called VDS Pro. It can code things on older cars that VCDS can't.I could bring along my vcds cable and laptop if you guys need to use it![]()
