Lets get something together here in Utah. I think Charlie said either there is something already in the works or we are starting it here. how bout mid april depending on weather?

April 16 is the first Test n' Tune session at Rocky Mountain Raceway. Basically, you pay 10 bucks to race, and wait in line all day to make a few runs.

I think we TDI-guys should make a showing. Then I can have a witness or two for my 14-second pass.

There's also a few timing belts and injectors to do... Matt, Mike?

Another thing I've been tossing around is getting a day at Edge Products in Ogden to use their dynos- they have 3 of them, including a 4-wheel dyno. The CEO droves a V10 Toureg, they have a parts runner TDI jetta with PP502 in it, and we've done a little fooling around on their dyno before. The do all their manufacturing in-house and it really is pretty cool, they have some high HP trucks...

Can anyone say TDIFEST 2006?

Hey, Charlie. I won't be able to make it to RMR on the 16th. Mike would get killed if he went because that is his wifes birthday. I will probably be doing my Timing belt next weekend. But anytime you want to do the Dyno day or another get together that will work. I did end up doing my suspension the same day Mike did his Injection pump. It is sooo nice!!!

I'd love to make it, but that is my wife’s birthday and I have a suspicion that I will have a hard time convincing her that I should go....I think I'll play it safe and not ask :-D

I am definitely up for the injectors and dyno on another day, I can talk her into that one I am sure.

Well, due to a wind storm, I am doing repairs to my RV that weekend in preparation for the following weekend, so Rocky Mountain is out, but I may head up with Mike and/or Matt for the Dyno. Sounds like fun. I just need to figure out a way to justify the injectors.....where did I put that thinking cap?

BTW, Has anyone else but me and Mike ever had a problem with the presure pipe coming loose and rubbing on the power steering pump? Seems odd to have it happen to two of the four TDI's in the family.
