VWoA, are you listening?

PEOPLE ARE LEAVING YOUR BRAND. THE ONLY THING THAT KEEPS YOU ALIVE IS THE TDI, AND EVEN THAT ISN'T ENOUGH FOR SOME PEOPLE. Watch as DCX, or Honda, or Nissan steal your sales as soon as one of them get a compact diesel out.

Sell cars people want, make them reliable, for affordable price points *ahem*Polo*ahem*, and MAKE YOUR GODDAMN DEALERS BEHAVE!

Well I am 33 and going through a lot of health problems and BS in life but in that I DO love the TDI BUT NOT THE CRAP that I have to deal with all the f******* time!!I spoke to a few members for Germany and you know what! thay think were a bunch of FOOLS!and to a point, thay are right! Now thay do read this boad and I know one thing is for sure..THAY DO NOT GIVE A CRAP ABOUT US OR THE PROBLEMS WE HAVE AND THAT IS THE TRUTH!.It's the people and a few good people on this fourm that have help every one and to bad the TDI clun does not own a Dealership.I am done with the VW brand I am going to be the other fool and drive my 05 GTO 400hp 410 fptq!!!!and enjoy the zoom zoom and the take of fuel every other day.....

Well, 3193 who's a salesman at a dealership is a member here (and not TOO far away from you, either, IIRC), and vwrobert51 is a master tech at another dealership (in Hawaii, though).

Looks like VW will have to go through a 'GM experience'. It will be tough to see any real change as Lower Saxony is a large share holder.

Wonder how the VW MoonRaker team (stationed in sunny Malibu, CA) would look at this? ; ) Would they really care? Agreed Eric, when the competition starts offering diesel engines in their cars in the US, VW's share will plummet.

Haven't some laws changed around, though, such that Lower Saxony has to become a small enough shareholder that a hostile takeover is possible?

And isn't that why Porsche is buying much of Lower Saxony's share, such that it remains a German company that is safe from hostile takeover?
