It took me almost 2.5 hours. 2 hours of which was simply trying to get the electrical connection back onto the oil pressure sensor after I had reinstalled it. The plumbing and other installation took less than 30 minutes.
The electrical connector in my car had a very short wire lead on it, the electrical connector's rubber tip was also impacting the wire bundle on the back of the alternator. The sensor was not tightened down, and so it would rotate every time I would try to align the connector. I have a slight loss of range of motion in my hands from old injuries. All of this made it a real pain to simply get the electrical connector plugged back in.
Once I tightened the sensor into the fitting so it could not rotate any longer it took less than 10 minutes to finish the job.
I am pretty sure most people could do this job in 45 minutes or less. It was not technically challenging in the least.
