Well, I know Buicks are popular in China, so I guess they figured a waterfall grille was a sign of luxury...and the bigger the grille, the more luxurious the car. But...wow.

The blog post tries to say the car's not that bad aside from the grille, but I beg to differ. It's like someone crossbred a Pontiac Aztek (a.k.a. Asstek) with a 2001-ish Hyundai Sonata. Then they regretted their decision and tried to beat it to death with the ugly stick...but it wouldn't die.

There are just too many to list....
Yeah, that is bad. Funny, all the Chinese cars at the auto show were clearly design ripoffs of someone else. Almost like they have no creativity at all, and have to copy styles often off of a combination of makes.

The car above looks like a previous gen Ford Taurus/Five Hundred body, with some Hyundai Sonata/Kia Optima styling bits, Volkswagen New Beetle headlamps, and the Weber Flameburner 6100 propane BBQ grill stuck to its snout.

In comparison to the grille the rest of the car can be described as beautiful. When compared to other cars, nothing special.

I beg to differ: it is definitely an Audi TT grille.

But for the top ten ugliest car events, nothing yet can top the #2: Toyota actually building the original scion, and the #1 event: americans bought them.

I rest my case.

Nah, looks a bit like the Chrysler Imperial concept.

When will Chrysler stop trying to make a poor-man's RR? I thought the 300 was a bad copy, but this Imperial is just too much.
