2002 TDI (ALH) with 513,000 km. First Owner and very happy... No Problems, never left us stranded on the Highway. Average useage is about between under 4 ltr. and 5 ltr. Normal longdistance travel: 4.1/100
Of course Diesel Vehicles will be around and in EUROPE they make even a DIESEL Airplane.

Pick up that Cummins while you can, our local dodge dealer offering about 15k off of msrp on any diesel powered rig- eco diesels and cummins included as the rumor is a stop sales order is only days away!

I may have to rethink my turn in plans for my JSW ,it only has 40k miles. It could be an icon of massive value, 30 yrs from now. Just like the stanley steamer LOL.

If that's the case, why would they not stop selling ECO's in the GC? I have it on good source that ECO's are not dead or dying. Besides, if FCA did kill off the diesel in it's trucks, that would be the end of them. Who will by a RAM that gets 10mpg on a good day. Sure, gas is cheap now and it's hurting "Hybrid" sales but people have short memories. When diesels die off, gas will hit $4 or better. Mark my word. ;)

If new diesels aren't coming anymore, the current ones will increase in value for sure.

Wouldn't that be a hoot:D

My 2015 Golf DSG has (only) 3,838 miles.

The Buyback is $25,275.53 ~~ the "fix" is about $6,600

Noting the KBB value has gone UP to 'bout $,22,900

However the NADA is coming up less at 'bout $19,700

At least we all have some time to get it right ~~ save the souls who have already done the BB:eek:
