I just purchased this car less than a month ago have not registered it yet or driven it much other than the test drive or parking spot to parking spot.
2006 DSG 147k unknown history.
The other day I went to start the car and it turned over and over but wouldn't start, no pop no smell from the tail pipe.
- new battery (starts my other tdi)
- I can hear the in tank pump running
- The ASV is open
- No codes
- warm temperatures
- glow plug light doesn't stay on.
- no changes to the car have been made before it was parked.
Today I pulled the fuel filter housing, drained the fuel, changed the filter. I primed the car 10-15 times. Now the car turns over and pops but doesn't start. The canister is full with fuel, so my in tank pump must be good? I'm assuming my next course of action is to pull the supply line from the tandem pump to the filter and see if I get fuel?
