I went through hell, and back again, recently, with a bad clockspring/steering wheel wire harness. I finally resolved the issue.
Now, my turn signals can only be turned off manually, instead of the steering wheel doing this automatically.
Anyone have any ideas about this?

Clockspring deactivates the blinker
Mechanically, or electrically? My blinkers work fine, it's just that I have to turn them off, manually.
If 'mechanically' is the answer, what am I looking at here? I can still hear a click inside the steering wheel, at the point where the blinkers should automatically turned off, but nothing is happening. I still have the steering column disassembled, and I can feel the 'click' in the blinker switch, but there isn't enough mechanical action, to turn the blinker off.
