OK, I hate to start ANOTHER turn in thread.....BUT.....I was reading a ton of negative posts about all that goes wrong with turn in and honestly it made me a little skeptical. My Date was December 27th at 6:30 p.m. I showed up ahead of time and was in and out by 6:20. About 20 minutes. I received my Chase E mail the 28th about 24 hours later, filled out the form and it showed in my account by mid afternoon on the 29th. Overall it went smoothly, the hoops we have to jump through are NOT fun nor convenient but the system worked for me. To those having a hard time, i feel for you! Hang in there y'all!!

Same deal here basically, buy-back on the 28th, rec'd Chase email last night and did the web work about 8:30pm (Eastern), money in my account this morning when I checked at 8am.

I feel a lot of compassion for people having problems, and grateful I didn't, but with the quantity of people involved (customers selling back cars, buy-back "specialist" contractors, VWAG internal employees, et. al.) there just had to be some rough spots happen ... just not possible otherwise.

Mine turn in was quick and easy, nary a problem from start to finish. Turn in agent was quick and efficient, very friendly. Turned in on a Tuesday afternoon, had the EFT in my bank on Thursday afternoon.
This was in stark contrast to how a buyback with FCA/Ram truck I went through last year, those people are real miserable SOB's.......

I have been fortunate in that the whole process from start to finish was very smooth. Turned in the 2 TDIs on Tuesday in back to back appointments. Both were done in a total of about 30 minutes. Confirmation email received while at the dealership itself. The specialist assured us that VW will take care of all the formalities with CA DMV, including surrendering the plates. Received the EFT notification from JPMorgan on Wednesday promptly at 5:30 Pacific and the money deposited in the bank account on Thursday early AM. With that milestone, my TDI and VW days are over and I am kind of sad.

Turned my in yesterday (Dec 29). Turn in process very easy. No issues whatsoever. Agent I talked to was very nice, and in fact he told me that while he couldn't move the day of turn in for my other vehicle, he told me that he is at the dealership by 9:00 each day, and his first appointment of the day isn't until 10:00. So if I wanted to bring in my other vehicle early the day of the appointment, he would squeeze me in.
It has been 26 hours since I turned the vehicle in, and no email from Chase yet. Hopefully it will be soon.

Someone else reported he gave incorrect email address so he didn't receive Chase email until address was fixed.

I checked my account settings online with VWGOA + I got the emailed receipt from them, so I am confident they have the correct email address. Still waiting though.

We turned in yesterday December 29th a 2:30. No chase email yet.
Process was quick otherwise. Might be making a deal on a 16 GTI but felt bad leaving our TDI

That just seems to be the time they go out. That was the exact time I got my two (separate) emails on different days, and others here have reported the same.
It's good to hear about some positive experiences. I almost didn't want to start this thread because I know some of those having issues with VW may take it the wrong way. But I also want those about to go through the process that it also can go smoothly. Best of luck to my VW friends, I'm out the other side and my time on these forums is short. This forum has been an incredible asset to many of us throughout the whole process! Thanks to everyone who helped share their info for the rest of us!
