You don't need one. The exhaust temps from a diesel are way lower than for a gasoline engine.
If you've just driven straight up a mountainside flat out, and pulled into a rest stop immediately, and it took less than 1 minute from the time you first cut power to the engine (i.e. when you started coasting on the highway) until you're parked in a parking spot, then perhaps let it idle for a minute. Otherwise, the low-speed drive through neighborhoods and parking lots that most people have at either end of a commute are plenty of time for cool-down.
I tow a trailer with my car. I don't worry about it. 227,000 km, no turbo problems.
