Looking to pipe my Jetta for an "off-road" application. Wondering if somebody could lead me to the best solution and pricing options. Don't need to bring to 3" or if that is best, I would be interested in that as well. Just want to run 2.5" from the turbo back. Any help or suggestions appreciated.

none of the options I've seen are cheap, kermatdi is another. Might as well leave it stock. Turboback is roughly 900 w/downpipe.

I had been told the existing pipe diameter is good enough for stage 1 mods. Especially when you "open up" the cat. Remove, cut window, remove restriction, weld window back...

What's an easy exhaust mod for an 09 Jetta? I'd like better flow for economy not sound

Was my wife's car I'm starting to commute

I wouldn't call any exhaust mod easy if it involves welding. You won't net much from gutting the cat or muffler. Keep as-is until you go stage II. Hell I'm at stage II and it's fine with my stock exhaust.

If you want better flow and economy from an exhaust mod, that would be a dpf delete.
