WOOOW !!!! i call Paul and talk with him for 30seconds, he tells me that he will call back so it won't cost me any longdistance call. after 2-3 minutes DRING !!! it's Paul. We talk for at least15 minutes and tell me that he have a gt1852 turbo in stock. so i say ok i'll order it ( im not difficult to convince ;) ). We hang up and Charlie calls back and explain and answer most of the question i had in mind at that time.... it's around 6:45 over there. so i receive a e@mail from kerma saying that my shippement have been done and 3 minute after i receive an other e@mail from fedEX saying that at 7:10 it have been picked up.

i just went to see the fallow of my delivery and at 7:27 it was in the plane at 8:00 it had left salt lake city and at 10:30 it was arriving at Mirabel ..... i guess i should get dress and wait by the door.... at that speed i'll have it at midnight lol !!!!

4hours later it was at 180km from where i live, or at 2hours from where i live. when it should take around 6-7 open days, so 1.5week lol !!!!

he did everything he could to deliver what i needed to be able to go to the tdifest in 2 day lol !!!!

with all that probleme he gave himself i just hope my mecano have spare time to install it.

Quincy
always happy to deal with Kerma:D

P.S: i don't wanna start any war between vendor, just saying that i'm happy oK !!!

This is getting to be beyond creepy! I blew my turbo the same day as you. I've had all the same conversations with Paul & Charlie. I ordered the same turbo. And mine will be delivered tomorrow!

AND I couldn't be happier with the level of customer service from KermaTDI!! Prompt responses, patience when dealing with novices, high quality products, fair prices, etc., etc., etc.

kerma's customer support and service is top notch. I only ever had one problem with some hardware and he promptly gave me credit back on it and told me to keep it.

i am getting mine in st-hubert tomorow morning before the fedex truck go out with it !!! cuz i work at 5 minute from there :D so i might have it 4-5 hour before i should... :)

i have no car for the moment so my mom is driving me around like a baby:eek: so she will be the one getting it and deliver it to the dealer in st-jean where my car is parked lol !!! they will install all this for me tomorow so i can be at the tdi fest !!!!

it's between you and me lol !!! but .. they didn't had any place for me tomorow and i told them that they could put sticker on my car to do a promotion for them at the fest and told me ok at 1:00pm we start the installation. i kept my serious face but i was laughting at them cuz if they do put sticker on it .... i'll drive 50km and just take them off lol !!! i am so E.V.I.L:eek: MUUHAAHAA

P.S: you know the only sad part in all this is not that i am almost living in the street for buying this or that my fiance want to leave me for putting MORE money on the car ......... it's that i won't be there to see how they take a part the turbo and reinstall it ..:( .. so i'll never really understand how it is done !!!

If you have kids then they come FIRST!

If not, DITCH HER NOW! This may be the only warning you will get before it is too late!

If something means that much to you (cars) and that little to her, then your compatibility as a couple is so low that you are going to be in for a very hard row to hoe my friend.

Try to hookup with a chick that shares your interests more and appreciates your hobbies... they are much harder to find but the rewards of potential greater long term happiness will be worth the waiting and searching if you can find the right one.

LurkerMike's love and life sage advice, take it fwiw, yrmv. :D

As far as the title to this thread, "try to beat KERMA's Customers Service"... why not choose something a little easier for a challenge, like say, "Try to count all the grains of sand on the beach" or "Try to count all of the stars in night sky (away from the city lights)". :D

1 problem with a girl that likes to do everything you like to do... you can never have time to do things on your own. I know that for a fact. I love the fact that my girl will wrench on cars all day long- but its hard to be by myself when I want to be.

Well I feel kinda left out of this love fest but I don't wanna start a scene. We'll see how top notch it is in a few days.

My hope is that being in business to be in business means doing what's right becasue its right and not throwing blame around.

Mow the grass, that gives me plenty of time to be by myself. It's even better with a diesel tractor with a front end loader:D, so then if you get bored mowing the grass you can dig holes and move random stuff.

The problem with email is often spam blockers and the like.

My email server went wacky on me a few weeks ago and I wasn't receiving any emails for a few days... I'm a little slow to realize things like that sometimes is why it too me so long to catch it and get it fixed.

Email is not always 100% despite being invented by Al Gore... :p

Email can't work without the internets.

If Al had not invented the internet, we wouldn't have email, therefore it is apparently obvious that Al Gore invented email. :p

KERMA/Charlie is at the TDI fest in Montreal at the present time, he might not have gotten around to his e-mails. He should have phone coverage up there, try to call him or I think he should be back tuesday or so,..?

i should have put a smile at the end of this phrase cuz.. trust me this girl is my soulmate and lifemate ... she's like my car i wouldn't trade her or it (car:rolleyes: ) for anything in the world !!!

i can do anything i want with the car .... the only probleme there is is that all the modification i have done on the car were all this summer ... and to more specific from july to now .... so 3000$ in 3 month it's kinda of alot i should calm down but it's like cigarettes for a smoker you always need something of a pof of nicotine !!!

she's worth it trust me !;)

Dinner with Kerma and Paul :)

Ok, this thread is a good segway into my recent trip to Colorado Springs to get together with Charlie and Paul. As some of you may know, I've been working on getting my Beetle tuned and ran into a few hardware/mechanical, in addition to high-altitude, problems with getting it tuned.

When I arrived, I met Paul and promptly received a KERMA TDI tee shirt :) Then Charlie got to work; getting under my car and verifying my turbo health. After a few VAG-COM runs with me driving and Charlie as a co-pilot, Charlie sat down and worked through my tune. If you have not seen tuning software, it's pretty darn cool. We went through torque adjustments, smoke settings, and just about everything you can imagine about the tune. He then installed it via the Q-Loader and we logged a few more runs. It runs very strong now.

After verifying the tune, Paul and Charlie took me out for dinner at Corrabas and we talked about all kinds of stuff. These guys work awfully hard for you and are nice people to boot.

If you get a chance to hang out with these guys, it's alot of fun and you learn a whole lot about these cars just being around them.
