Yea, that's a user contributed/edited list. Has it's limits, but it's the best we got. If a member posts/contacts that a shop is closed, moderator's may eventually correct it.

Yes he does and just found it: 367 East Mountain Avenue, Fort Collins.
He used to have his own shop and went by Metrik Methodz. He has worked on my TDI for years and of course has done the timing belt.
He is a professional with a couple decades of experience with VWs and Audis.

Any recommended TDI mechanics in San Diego? The list shows the closest one is in Huntington Beach which is pretty far away.

I did find a shop here in San Diego that has great reviews and services many European vehicles. Ray has at least two mechanics who know TDIs very well, at least one of whom he refers to as a mechanical genius. The down side is that he charges $160 just to run a thorough inspection and find the problems that need addressing.

Any recommendations for a good volkswagen mechanic between Columbus OH and Pittsburgh PA, I'm in Wheeling WV. Even Cleveland, OH to Morgonton WV, is within range. Need a clutch replaced so I think most any VW person could do it.
