Okeechobee purple was a potent marihuana strain that originated in Florida. One of the most beautiful songs about Florida other then Seminole Wind by John Anderson is the song Okeechobee Purple by Gary Stewart a Ft. Pierce, Florida Country singer and and song writer.
It is true the sky is Okeechobee Purple in the Swamp land and Cypress Country of Central Florida in the land of the Seminole. Check out the YouTube videos of those two songs.
