Transmission?

I have a 2007 va rabbit with 147,654 miles original. I noticed a few times upon slowing down at stop signs my car feels like it's getting hit from behind ( a boat coming off plane if you will). I thought it was the trany and needed a fluid change, but repair shop said the box was sealed and doesn't require a flush.
Any ideas? I never had this happen before, and this is my first VW

VW claims most of their transmissions don't ever need service. Most can and I feel they should be serviced, but I'm not sure what's in your car. You may have better luck getting info here (3) Golf V & Jetta V | VW Vortex - Volkswagen Forum
