I would just use the same torque as the original bolts 18 ft/lbs, maybe with a dab of blue on them. All the usual suspects have them: kerma, whitbeard etc.

Blue locktite, thx u, I'll shop around and see who's got the best deal on it,,, I got SMF in my jetta I'd be curious if it will take some of the flywheel chatter

I swapped fluidarmp from my golf to Jetta and got rid of about 70 % of the chatter, I'd think this damper is not only to give you less chatter but help the synchros not to get too rattling in the tranny, I'm sure it helps on lessening the vibrations in the engine as well, some people claim more power but I doubt it, as long as I get the other 2 benefits i mentioned I'm happy

How does it work for CJAA? I know the gasoline version for 2.0tfsi or TSI it makes more power around 10whp more with a K04. Don´t know in TDI.... Does it add more power?

I have an email into Whitbread performance on this topic. I have CJAA and I want the fluidampr and the aluminum timing belt cover. I will likely order both tomorrow and report back what I find

Ok. Just got the fluidampr and aluminum lower timing belt cover. EZ as pie install and looks great. First impression: feels like less vibration and the exhaust note sounds a bit different (lower) under load. Only got about 20 miles so tomorrow I have a full day on the road so I will report back. No regrets so far!

That's what i want to know. I had a GLI k04 2008 and brought one but sold the car and never installed the Fluidampr. The 2.0tfsi or 2.0tsi with k04 the gains are around 10whp from what i searched on the forums. On tdi no info to be found about power gain or real dyno numbers.

My results with a dual mass flywheel was pretty minor but with a single mass flywheel (6 speed manual) it's a must have.
I also put one on a DSG automatic. Minor improvement (exhaust note seemed to change a bit). Probably better options for the money if you want horsepower.

Never thought of them as being a HP thingy. Sure smooths out the rotational vibrations though so worth it for that alone.

Well like i said on gasoline 2.0tsi k04 a person took the car to the dyno with the stock pulley and then did another pass with the fluidampr and the gains where 10whp and more torque in the powerband after 2.5k or 3k rpm.
