i've been happy with my Continental 'pure contacts. they have wore well on our rough roads and had a great placebo effect of better mileage from the stock tires :)

I'm running Goodyear Assurance Maxlife. 85k mile tread warranty and they're smooth and soft enough for me and I'm lowered on springs. They were fairly inexpensive, I believe a set was less than 700 out the door.

I went with Toyo Extensas rated for 75,000mi. Very happy with handling and noise, time will tell on the mileage...$540 total.

I got a set General Gmax AS-05's (manufactured by Continental) for about $500 from Discount Tire. It could have been closer to $300 if my timing was better during the spring incentives, oh well. They say it's rated for 50K with a treadwear number of 500 and weigh 20 lbs. a piece.

I went with vredestein quatrac pros. I really like them, the price and quality is unbelievable.

I have Continental Control Contacts and they have a good balance of wear and grip. If you want something long lasting, the Michelin Defenders are the way to go.
