Is anybody running a 205/70R15 on a Golf with stock ride height?

I saw a thread where multiple members said this tire fit w/out rubbing on a Wagon. I think they should fit the Golf but want input before I get the tires.

TIA

I had that size on my saturn, stock was 185/70R14. No rubbing, except in winter with ice/snow build up in the fender. I think you will be OK. You can always measure the clearances with existing tires at lock to lock.

I ran 205-75-15(General grabber at2) with the stock wore out suspension, it would only rub on a turn with a bump(that would push the tire up into the wheel well, compressing suspension) or on full lock u turns.

I'd like to try the 205/75R15 setup but there aren't too many options in the touring A/S variety. None really...

Guess I go with the 205/70R15.

Thanks all for the input

There's at least 3 options on Tire Rack...?

https://www.tirerack.com/tires/Tire...5&rearWidth=255/&rearRatio=40&rearDiameter=17

I do agree that anything in 15", especially in a 70 or 75 aspect ratio is getting much harder to find, whereas 15 years ago, these sizes were the most popular.
OK so I should have said none that I would consider in 205/75R15. I like Bridgestone, Falken and Michelin. Prefer Americas Tire because of their selection and I've gotten great deals from them in the past.

There are only two in that size I would even consider. These: https://www.americastire.com/buy-tires/goodyear-assurance-a-s/p/24790 and the Toyo https://www.toyotires.com/tire/pattern/all-season-tires-extensa-as#Warranty

The Toyos have a bunch of bad reviews so I guess that only leaves one option in that size LOL.
