On a Timing Belt Service does the labor usally cover the cam seal. And should you have them replace it, even if it is not leaking since they have it all apart. I would think so but I would like another opinion.

Yeah, I had left the OE cam seal after several TB changes because it was not leaking. Well, at the last TB change, I had to replace the Crankshaft seal due to a leak. So, I thought well, I'll go ahead and replace the Cam Seal...........bad idea! It now leaks! The Crankshaft seal is fine!

Some things need to be left alone if they are not giving a problem.........the Cam Seal is one of those things!...........in my opinion! I believe the other posters concur!

Got my TB serviced at Eurotec in Wichita very nice. Chad and his father are very knowledgable. There was a slight leak in my cam seal and he did replace it. I'm glad he is on your list of mechcanics. Thanks

I fully agree. I usually do not mess with them unless there is a leak. Joe, thanks for the company and positive feedback!
