So while I was sitting on my cold seats the other day, waiting for them to heat up, I found myself wishing I could have them turn on about 10 minutes before I usually leave for work so I could jump in and sit on a nice warm seat. I looked around for threads dealing with this but found nothing. I know nothing about how the seats are wired, so I'm not sure if it would be doable or even if its something the battery would be able to do with the car off. I just thought I'd throw the idea out here and see what your thoughts are.

i doubt that you could do this as i think there is a weight sensor in them only allowing them to heat when your sitting in them. At least my 03 has it.

my 05 isnt weight sensored as i usually turn on my passenger seat when i turn mine on so 15+mins later my GF has a warm seat.:D
but this would be a great idea...if possible.
