Bought my '11 JSW 6MT about 18 months ago with 55k.

Had absolutely no issues until a CEL a few weeks ago at 119K. P2015 code.

Called Langan VW in Vernon, Ct. I was told only the HPFP and one other thing, forget what it was, was covered by the warranty. Then called Lia VW in Enfield, Ct. They said, yeah, you should be covered, so long as it isn't modded or something like mouse damage.

So, I brought it in, about 4 hours later I get a call. Come get it. New intake, Warranty coverage!!!

Wooo Hooo!!!!!

So, I now have a 120K with a nice clean brand new intake!!!!

If I am not mistaken, I think I am about out of warranty. I will admit every time I read up on it, I just get a headache!!!

Can someone confirm this?

Should I go ahead with some sort of tune/delete/??? at this time?

Should I add the dieselgeek bracket which I have been told is a fix for the code to prevent it happening again down the road?

After the EPA fix I got a new intake because of P2015, so after the new intake was installed, I added the dieselgeek bracket to make sure my new intake never had the same failure.

That was at about 200k miles.

I’m at 400k miles now and all is great still.

That part is brilliant and cheap assurance that you are preventing a common failure.

Hope I get that sort of mileage out of mine!

Have you done any other mods or deletes?

How is fuel mileage and power at 400k? I would expect a little compression loss by that time.
