Just want to say thank you to both Peter and Bruce for the support in my T-belt replacement process.
My apologies for the long explanation below.

As it was suggested on the multiple threads on this board, I did inspect the cam before changing the T-belt to make sure that it is in a good shape. Lucky for me it looked fine @80K. Keeping the fingers crossed for the next 80K:)
I originally got the kit from IDParts for my 2006 BRM. Following multiple treads here and on myturbodiesel.com I changed it at my friends shop with the lift (what a back saver). Unfortunately, I got a very faint "rolling" noise after the swap. When it got a little louder, I got really concern. I really did not want to experience a "broken T-belt" scenario. I have send a video clip to Peter @ IDParts, but it is really hard to catch/see it that way. Peter suggested to get a second opinion from Bruce (Paramedick) , who is ~20 minute drive from me.
Bruce did confirm that the sound that I have heard was not natural or expected. The suspicion was that it was the idler pulley or the tensioner. Bruce had the parts available, so I got it from him to avoid the wait on the shipping from IDParts.
So, off I went to the second T-belt job in two weeks. As luck would have it it turned out that after I have changed both of the items the noise was still there. And if was ~9pm on the Monday night. As you might imagine I was not a "happy camper". I called Bruce again and luckily he had the rest of the kit available from Boraparts. After making an "after hours" parts pick up I was able swap the water pump and the T-belt itself. Second time was the charm for my engine. The noise was gone and the engine happy. It turned out the the water pump was a culprit.
By no means I want to say that the kit quality from IDParts is bad. It is quite the opposite, it has all the bits and pieces that you need. I just happened to be an unlucky one that got a bad apple. We do not live in perfect world and you bound to get a faulty part once in million of a good ones. As soon as Peter got the summary of my exercise he sent a RMA number to ship all the parts back. Once they received it back, I got a full refund for the T-belt kit purchase.
Yes, I was not happy to do the job twice. But the kind of the support I got from both Bruce and Peter made it much less painful.
