That only 2 gallons of fuel heading to Marrblehead today after a bike our ride on the Ohio&Erie cannel

Just because someone mentioned a bike parade in costume, I thought this might be of interest as well. No bikes, but plenty of costumes.

No TDI's in the picture that I know of, but just for a laugh on Thursday, this is what I do for fun...

Thanks, I'm glad too! It could have been way worse, the guy almost smashed me into the center divider. After he hit me, he kept going, so I took off after him. As I caught up, the guy in a red car in front of him (almost got hit himself) helped me to box him in, and push him off the road (police chase style )

Anyone want to post a challenge of your TDI in an accident? I think I could beat New Lyme on that one

He said he had no idea he hit me. Talking on the phone at the time. This was the truck that hit me.

Ouch man... I've had similar happen but on the drivers side on the GF's old grand am)... Had to go after him too... People kept trying to block me thinking i was passed out behind the wheel...

Trucker passed 3 more cars before he pulled over...

Glad you are OK. Seriously, there is little indication that your lug nuts are doing a can opener job on the car next to you when you are in a big enough truck.

Thanks to all for the best wishes, they should be able to repair the car rather easily. The damage seems to be fairly "superficial" in a way.

If anyone wants to make a challenge regarding a TDI in a body shop (I like the idea)... Otherwise I'll be sitting out for a few rounds.

I just realized, I'm probably going to be stuck in a gasser. Have to make sure I remember to NOT fill with diesel.

It will take a lot more than that to ruin a diesel! I got up to speed very quickly to catch up to him

Today on the way to work I saw Audi A3 TDI with 'courtesy vehicle' sticker on it and I thought it was nice for Audi to offer diesel as a loaner. Then I thought they must be doing it only for TDI drivers, otherwise the car won't last too long . I wish we had that option at VW or at a rental agency.

Impressive indeed. My acceleration after impact to ~75 or so chasing after the truck was even more so! You can't tell from the picture, but the tire had patches of tread missing.

I'm just glad my Laser Shifters are intact

I completely agree. The other night I spent an hour or two talking to a random stranger who also had a tdi. Ah, I should have taken a picture!
