no it is permanent....15 years and let me show you the door. but I will survive...severance is decent too. you think that is bad a month ago had to put my house for sale, and a month before that I filed for divorce....wonder what will happen next month. when it rains it pours....as I said I will survive and move on is all I can do.

Do you guys meet at the Brat Stop often? I am new to the club (just over a year). Mostly been lurkin through the forums. I pass by the Brat Stop everyday on my way home from work. Lookin to meet other members in the area.

The thought is to drive in and along the east side of the Brat-Stop, and go straight north to the end of the lot. Since we are the only ones to park in this spot, and as driving in it can be seen if other TDIers are there, it works out good.

We meet on the last Thursday of month about 6:30 PM, at the Brat Stop which located near I-94 and Hwy 50, west of interchange, on the north side of Hwy 50. Their web site is http://www.bratstop.com/

It is not unusual for people to start showing up at 6:00pm

We collect at the back of the place on the far north end of parking lot Look for all the VWs

When the first people go inside, be sure to let them know you are part of the TDIClub and perhaps ask for the tables near the stage (plenty of room there). This will give us a bit more room then a booth and will make it easier for new members others to find the group.

Free wireless Internet access is available in their main area

There is a band there on Saturday. Is that going to be a problem? I assume that we can find a spot away from the action. I've never been there when they have entertainment so I don't know how it's setup.

I checked the web site. From what I can see the entertainment/band starts at 9:30. So as long as we get there well before 9:30. There should be no problem. Rumor has it that even if you are in before the entertainment they will stalk you down to collect the cover charge.

I was thinking pretty much the same thing lovemybug. The band that is playing. I have no interest in. How I was planning it was to have dinner there with my daughter and meet some of the local TDI'ers. Hightail it out of there before the "night time crowd" gets there. In fact if someone has vag com aka vcds and knows how to do some of the mods such as the window with the remote mod and "shut up the seat belt nag" mod. I would be pretty grateful. Let me know what you would want for doing it.
