i can get back anytime but the end of the month is a good time in the frt biz to be out and moving product. had a renault f1 car the other day. today rubber parts for honda of canada. and i am in ohio today.

This is to start a new/clean thread for the monthly Milwaukee/Chicago area GTG and to make it easier for people to know when/where to meet

We meet on the last Thursday of month about 6:30 PM, at the Brat Stop which located near I-94 and Hwy 50, west of interchange, on the north side of Hwy 50. Their web site is http://www.bratstop.com/

It is not unusual for people to start showing up at 6:00pm

We collect at the back of the place on the far north end of parking lot Look for all the VWs

When the first people go inside, be sure to let them know you are part of the TDIClub and perhaps ask for the tables near the stage (plenty of room there). This will give us a bit more room then a booth and will make it easier for new members others to find the group.

Free wireless Internet access is available in their main area

say you place an object, say a plastic ball, in a murky pond that isnt quite boyant. It immediately starts to sink out of sight. To prevent it from being lost from view, someone needs to jump in and give it a nudge back to the surface so it will rise back up and be visible again. In an active thread, that happens whever someone posts a new message. Inactive threads (or ones that only get use once a month or so) tend to sink down and dissapear. So someone who wants to prevent that from happening but doesnt really have anything to say will often post "bump" in their effort to, well, bump the thread back to the top again

Well I did.

I came in about 7:15, walked around didn't see anyone, asked the workers. They knew nothing about a TDI meeting. Sat down had a brat and left about 8:10.

Maybe we need to be on the Brat Stop's list of meetings, so the staff know of the TDI meeting and were we are seated? Then as people showup they can be shown were the other's are. Well maybe.

when you go in tell the staff that you are there for the tdi club meeting and where you will be sitting so others can join you.

i am feeling your pain. i am suffering in windy overcast conditions in waco texas. the weather channel says it is 71 with no wind chill. tonite it will be 52 with rain and tomorrow 50 with rain. don't fuss i will be back to the midwest soon enough.

If you tell them at the hostess stand when you get there where we will be they will usually tell others who ask.

I'm planning on being there barring some other problem popping up.

i wont be there, my car got broken into last night. The theives removed the pass front window and all my electronics as well as got into the garage with the door opener. Grrr. I really hate big cities. All in all, just over 1,500 in tools and electronics.
