2010 Black Jetta Manual in Dallas.

Has anyone got their windows tinted on a Black Jetta with beige interior ? If so could you post a picture ? I'm trying to figure out if I should get mine tinted. Also does it really help in these Texan Summers ?

Hello. We (wife and I) take delivery of our 2011 JSW with the manual transmission on Monday. We've been looking for a new car for months and finally decided on the JSW, despite all the HPFP concerns people have mentioned.

Does anyone have a recommendation for window tint shops here in Austin?

The dealer has offered to do it, but I can't see samples beforehand, and without a recommendation I'm hesitant to have them do it; I've seen bad tint before and don't want that on the new car!

I'm in Austin --- and I'm brand spanking new to the VW and TDI SportWagen world. Found a lightly used 2010 six speed manual at Hewlett with only 7500 miles on it on Jan 24 -- traded in my old Sube Forester with 156,000+ for the TDI -- that little wagon is a pretty nice ride -- averaging around 47 mpg so far with a mix of city and hiway.

New TDI owner in Cedar Park. '03 Golf 5 Spd silver/black 59k miles. Picked it up last week. A trip to Dallas and back yesterday and calculated just over 51mpg. So far so good...
