I loved the Touareg V6 a few years ago, but ended up buying a Passat (love it as well). A local dealer has 2 V-10 Touaregs, and we got a chance to try one out.

This vehicle is awesome. Everything I thought needed improvement on the V-6 has been addressed with this model. The engine is supple and smooth. The acceleration is amazing. You really have to watch your speed. The handling is more reactive. The rear seats are real. If you get a chance to try one you will be impressed. Too bad it is so expensive.

I think the dealer does not understand that the 2007 needs ULSD, as when I asked they said it was not part of the requirement, only cars were. (The fuel flap even had a sticker listing the ULSD requirement.)
