man am I exhausted.
Wondering what you guys have done to your cars? Maybe you could list the mods?
I'm currently cr170 turbo stage 3 chip, 3" straight pipe from turbo to stock muffler, and an EGR delete pipe. I also have the Tyrol subframe kit, which I love! I would recommend the Tyrol kit to everybody. It's a little expensive, but damn it keeps the car solid.

I was running mid to high 15's mostly, with a couple weird runs in the 20's where I had a bad start and decided to take it easy. My best time was 15.2. FYI this was my first ever track day, so I was doing a good bit of learning. I got some wheel hop on a few of my take offs and learned to back of on the throttle. Wheel hop and wheel spin aren't going to get you anywhere :p

I saw and talked to the guy running your tune, Kerma. Very nice results. I wish it wasn't so hot so we all could have had some better times for good comparisons. I felt like a dog trapped in a car waiting in line for the 1/4 mile!

I'm running the kerma 150+ kit For the ALH:
S7 turbo
Bosio DLC 1019
3 bar map sensor
Kerma tune via q-loader
Straight pipe stock exhaust
LUK 17-050 clutch

The best run for me was a 15.7 and I was on drag radials. The heat really held us all back. Still had a great time at the track, we all got to run 6+ times down the track.

I'm looking to get more air into the engine shortly with new intercooler and piping as well as a larger exhaust. The car was really gasping up top.

My car is a stage 3 custom tune with GTD pump.Darkside inter cooler and hard pipes, full rawtek system and custom home made getto intake.Les did the tuning for everything motor and trans.BFI dogbone insert. I have same setup as peter car my best time was a 14.6 at 96mph. It was way to hot the car would run faster times with cooler weather

I'm pretty sure I'll be racing again come show n go. I'd love to see some more diesels get out there and stretch their legs. I know people don't wanna strain their cars but all the TDIsperformed great even with the heat, and they all made it home on their own power.

And on the other side of the grandstands the auto-x was in full swing. The R compound tires were too hot in the afternoon session so I wasn't able to improve on my morning times, and I threw in the towel after about 5 afternoon runs (10 runs in the AM, others went the 10 for the afternoon).
How hot? The pop-up canopy feet were sunk into the asphalt when I packed up.
I'm still coming to grips (literally) with these tires and trying different pressures to find what works best and the afternoon change in pressure seemed to have helped the back come around a bit better, but the front was pushing even worse. I'll remember that for next time.

I second that!
Did tony ever get to race that "fully built" gti that looked like it had spray can wheels haha?
No that car was a joke me and peter laughed when we saw the time he ran. A stock tdi would of smoked that so called fully built 2.5 golf. He was a trip. He ran a 19.0
