TDI's at WaterFest

Really hoping to make it still, we will see. Just installed a CP3 HPFP which would be cool to show members.

If I do go, it will most likely be Saturday though. Will anyone here be there then?

I'm not sure about Saturday. I think GDM will be there Saturday. I would call Waterfest to see if they can put in a class to run on Saturday.

Many people would be interested in the CP3. There aren't many people who are using that pump yet. Some I know are using the GTD pump. To bad you can't make it Sunday.

So in the prep it says to remove your floor mats as well as everything else. Do you guys think that includes our snap in driver and passenger mats? Personally I'd like to keep those in cause it adds grip for my shoes.

Yes that includes snap or twist clip mats. They have to come out. no exceptions.

It rained on the way there, cleared up in time to race and man was it hot.. I raced my R today and it was easily a few tenths off because of the heat, but we still had a great time ..

Will be back tomorrow in my R unfortunately (R will be in the Kerma booth for the polar FSI product they are promoting) but I will be driving my friends 11 TDI in the shoot out most likely if not he will..

Yeah today really turned around, I hope tomorrow has a good selection of cars to look at. MK3s were almost as rare as mk1 & mk2, I saw single digit corrados and sciroccos.

All four of these TDI guys are tuned by GDM with Malone's Stage 111. We had six TDI's all together. This is a little less then we expected but we had great time. I would say track was about 110F. I believe we could have done better with cooler temps. We all managed to beat many gas cars even MK7 GTI's.

A special thanks to these guys that came out! That made the effort to be there and start the TDI shout out off. Thanks to Waterfest for inviting us.

Nice stage 2 car you had running today very nice. And nice meeting all of you today. The heat absolutely killed the performance ,My best run was 14.4 at night in the low 60 degree weather at that track.todays best run was 14.8.
My car is a stage 3 custom tune with GTD pump.Darkside inter cooler and hard pipes,full rawtek system and custom home made getto intake.Les did the tuning for everything motor and trans.BFI dogbone insert.
I did not use the launch control today on the car to hot. My 60 foots were terrible.2.5
