Auto x school is $90 drag race is $35

What do you mean by bracket race? The auto cross? Cause yeah, just he auto cross without any instruction is 35. I've never gone to a track before and I'd hate to wreck my DD on my first time out, so I'm going to go with the lessons haha

If it's like most auto-x courses then it'll likely be a wide open lot. Only thing you gotta worry about is killing cones

Auto-x is pretty benign compared to drag racing, and more adrenaline producing as well.
I thinking I'm going to enter for auto-cross.

Classification rules for autocross:

TIRES:
1) DOT-approved tires with treadwear 80 and below (Automatically bumped to RACE TIRE class)

CLASSING:
Class A: All Race Tire equipped cars, regardless of modification points. Modification list will determine SCCA PAX Class

So I put my Hoosier A6 on the otherwise stock A4 wagon and I'm in with the Audi R8!
Ouch!
Still, signing up for the AM session is $35, but adding the afternoon to it is only $15 more.
$50 for MINIMUM 8 runs? That's a deal.

Just got confirmation that I should be stage 3 in time for this

I'm excited to pull through some turns in auto x. This will be my first track event ever.

I don't think I'm going to do the 1/4 mile though. No point given my tire status. I would do the 1/4 mile via VCDS just of kicks tho.
