TDIFest or Sister\'s wedding?

This sucks. My sister's wedding is the same weekend as the TDIFest. Now the question is, which one should I attend? At the moment I'm leaning toward TDIFest, because I'm supposed to be a groomsman and tux rental will cost more than diesel/hotel for the weekend...haha. What a dilemma.

unless your sister is gonna have kart racing, a show and shine, and tons of fresh soot i think the correct decision is clear...

At least he doesn't live with her after he makes the decision to go to TDIFest and not her wedding...

Maybe he can convince her to move the wedding to Boston...

TDIFest or Sister\'s wedding?

Hi,

How special is your sister to you? There will be other Fests (I've missed them all... just waiting for that perfect drive, I guess). Hopefully, your sister will only marry once.

I got jacked into having to fly across the country to see my sister-in-law get married... AGAIN. I don't even like her. But I did it to keep the peace with my OL. Funny thing is it's been just five years and she's getting another divorce. HOW SPECIAL!

Good Luck,

Scott

TDIFest or Sister\'s wedding?

Simple:

If under normal circumstances you would attend your sister's wedding, then don't let the TDI Fest stop that.

If you aren't on speaking terms and you'd be doing it just for show, go to the Fest.

TDIFest or Sister\'s wedding?

I say buy them a TDI now for their wedding gift. Get the 2 of them hooked on the diesel, so they wont want to miss the TDIFEST either. So they move it out to Boston and invite the whole TDI crew thats there. Just picture the wedding gifts they would get. HHHMMMMMM. Now that I think about it. I should get married at the TDIFEST, so I can get some TDI gifts
I need to find a girl fast. Dan

Eh, her fiancee just got a 04 GLI, so...at least he's keeping it in the Jetta family. As far as moving the wedding to Boston...does anybody think we can get the church Paul Revere used during his famous ride? Just think, the reception can be at the Cheers bar....does it get any better than that?

TDIFest or Sister\'s wedding?

Sister's wedding, and I will go with you if her bridesmaids are single and good looking! There are going to be other TDIFests in the future, hopefully your sister is only getting married this one time! Women are very touchy about events like this. Would you want her to go to your wedding or would it be ok for her to go shopping on your wedding day? However instead of renting limos maybe there could be a Tdi caravan taking teh guest from the service to the reception
