Great Lakes' ATBs are a bit different from the near coastal variety. A friend of mine is the 4th generation owner of this company.

On board the Door County Maritime Museum's tug boat John Purvis. I must add that all of the restoration and maintenance work is done by volunteers. Some of the best that I have ever seen.

Those EMDs are absolutely beautiful. We drove around the peninsula on Monday and I completely forgot about doing the tug tour.

That inline 6-71 is the same as what the Fireboat uses for its generator. Its two main engines are 8v92s.

There were more CR cars than MKIV. There were more in the back lot.

There were a few BMW diesels there too. A 535d (mine), 2 335d's, and an E70 X5 35d.

My trip ended up being 2,300 miles and a little extra, which undoubtedly ate into our buyback/fix amount. It was worth it, though... great trip in a great car.

8 years ago the Last Fest….this weekend every year for 20 years
my Car was Best in Show that year

That was my second favorite Fest. My favorite was also in Wisconsin, the one in Lake Mills in '05 (I think).

Funny….Lake Mills was my Least Favorite….Loved Ypsi and Sturgeon Bay and the 2 in Maine!
