But maybe you could hitch a ride on a king crab boat. Some group proposes Adak in February? I think that would end my attendance streak.

Hey can I hitch a ride?I am VERY determined to go to the next TDI fest. At this point I don't really care where it is. I'm kinda aiming for furthest distance traveled to attend. If its on the east coast the drive is going to be murder but I will do it! Just need plenty of notice to book time off. For a distance referance I live in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada.
Now to wait and see where September 2011 is going to send me.
lol.not chicago?
"chicago is not noted to be significantly windier than any other u.s. City. For example, the average annual wind speed of chicago is: 10.3 mph (16.6 km/h); boston: 12.4 mph (20.0 km/h); new york city, central park: 9.3 mph (15.0 km/h); and los angeles: 7.5 mph (12.1 km/h)."

Followed up via email. We aren't quite ready to submit a proposal at this time... would like a little more time.
Is anyone else working on anything?
Good luck with that! It took almost a year of pestering and to get any response to us whatsoever. Then we got only a small small amount of support.Hell there is a new VW dealership I'm sure would be willing to host too. lol
x2, if the submissions are in, a list of possible locations would be nice to look at while we await the final decisionAny updates on submitted locations?
I clench mightily as I await the newsSorry guys, but you'll need to wait a couple weeks more for the final outcome as there are still some items to be worked out.
Hold tight.
LMAO... I'll refrain my my dirty commentary here.I clench mightily as I await the news
MrVermin
I hope you're talking about Portland, Maine...After my Cinci and DC show and shine "suggestions", I put money on Portland for being the 2010 location.
...
Pete
Gritty McDuff is in Portland!I hope you're talking about Portland, Maine...
Three days each way?! I made it from Mass to San Francisco in 4 days! 1,400 miles could be easily done in 2 days.Looking forward to the results myself since the location will determine the feasibility of driving vs. flying- I flew to Portland this year because I would have had to drive three days each way.
Yeah....most of my friends didn't understand. You drove to Portland? as in Portland OREGON?!?!
For a weekend?
What are you, Nuts?
