None at the moment. *sniff*
Very cool, all!

This could be a GREAT chance to get some legislative eyes on the fact that TDIs are clean, efficient cars for us CARB-Diet states. /images/graemlins/rolleyes.gif

IMO a mileage event imposes very stiff rules such that it detracts from the fun, or else it is too easy to cheat. Another detractor is that no two cars are the same, so winning doesn't take as much skill.

My word is definitely biased, but a time/points based rally is all fun with very little in the way of rules. Alternatively, just prepare a map for people who want to take a drive in their free time. Either way, a night rally would be very interesting /images/graemlins/wink.gif.

If you decide to piece together any kind of route, give me a buzz and I'll share the secrets of the 03 rally with you.

Cheers, and great prez BTW.

I've converted this file to an HTML VERSION and stuck it on my website. I got the idea when I converted My Own TDI Presentation to HTML. It's a little slower than a true PPT. But it still works. I'll leave yours up until October 1st.

I'll be glad to host another one that shows updates, if you like.

Take Care,

Scott

just because you can't see the gears doesn't mean the machine isn't active... stay tuned for something more substantial real soon.

well zero progress reports and promised of a logo vote (now months past /images/graemlins/wink.gif) are all pointing towards a feeling of stagnation - i hope yall are busy working on this, but it would be nice to have some reports... this event is a large investment of time and money for a lot of us to attend, and we have a strong interest in its success...

/images/graemlins/grin.gif

even if yall are barely rolling the ball along /images/graemlins/smirk.gif - I'm sure it'll be fun! I can't wait!!!!! /images/graemlins/laugh.gif /images/graemlins/grin.gif

I've added TDIFest 2004 to the Event Calendar on our club's website, and the Wasserwerks TDI contingent (at this point, me) is planning on driving up for at least a day. I'll be fresh from driving back from Ohio, so my butt-bone should be ready for the short 3 hour or so cruise to Beantown.

Hi NewTDI,

How long of a drive from San Francisco?
If you get up real early you can make it by 9:00 a.m.

We'd love to have you, and yes we have room. I do suggest however that if you're serious, that you make your hotel reservation ASAP! (Could you give Harvieux a ride?
?)
