What a terrific day it was today! With tons of friendly and sociable club members <many of whom who have known each other for years, with lots of new folks too> hangin' out on a bright, bright, relatively warm New England winter day, sharing the groove with two very happy people, I don't think today could have ever turned out better!

Julie and Peter, I think we can agree that we all pretty much share the same values regarding the durability and longevity of our cars. I can't imagine a better foundation <and metaphor> for a long, happy, and satisfying life together. Nice common reference point you've got there.

Thank you so for the kind wishes. Julie and I are fortunate to have so many TDi friends. 4 weeks and HO5G will host the first 2006 GTG.

Thank you Herm for officiating and too all those at chilly Baileys Island thank you for being there. And to those who came to the GTG the next day Thanks for saying we are not too crazy for doing a BIG GTG rather than do a trip to warmer climates. Although it was on our minds.
