Tdi Swap Mechanic

Hi All,

I have a 1997 Jetta Tdi and recently acquired a 1996 Geo Tracker. I am planning to swap the engine next year using an ACME kit. I am mulling over my options of doing it myself vs. paying someone. I would like to do it myself, however I live in a different state than the vehicles and am not sure it would be the smartest thing to do to try commuting to the project. I remember some time ago seeing there was an indy mechanic in Oregon who specialized in these conversions, but can't find him anymore since Google changed their algorithms. Does anyone know who this is and if he still doing conversion work?
